Please take a look and let me know what you think.  This is a big step for me.  I never want to make a living at photography, but I do want to expand the business.  The more money I can make, the better equipment I can buy and the better photos I can take.

Dance Arrested, what does it mean?  

I thought the the name was self evident, but I ran it by a few people and no one got it.  So let me explain.

I love dance.  I did not always love dance, but once exposed (and exposed and exposed) I have come to love it.  I go out of my way to see ballet.  There is nothing like live ballet.

Ballet on video, not so exciting.  Video never captures the spirit of the thing.  I am always left feeling flat after watching a video of ballet.

So, how does one capture the beauty of ballet?  For me, the answer is through photography.  Photography allows you to stop the action and show the beauty of the dancer.  Hence the name of the blog.  Dance arrested.  Dance stopped so we can appreciate it.
